Popis: iGuerilla is a standard first person shooter for Android phones. The game is aptly titled African Operation Guerilla and puts you right in the middle of the action in a jungle based war environment. First person shooter fans will definitely like the game as it is the only one currently available on this platform.




The loading screens on the game are impressive and lead you to believe that you would be getting some impressive graphics during gameplay. But the graphics are just ok and more akin to a game like time crisis. The game does however have a polished menu system.The game has nine levels and three difficulty modes and as expected I found the game short. The heads up display is positioned away from the action at the top and bottom of the screen and displays your health status and cash earned. Your ammo status is displayed in a gun icon.
The controls in the game are a bit iffy considering that you need to use the touchscreen to shoot. Touching the screen aims the crosshair and tapping it accomplishes shooting.
The enemies appear in a style popularized by games like time crisis, where the enemy pops out of standard locations. If you master the locations of the enemies getting rid of them is predictable. There are a variety of enemies including attack dogs as pictured on the left.
Gaining health is accomplished by shooting at life briefcases and when you are low on health your screen turns bloody.The game rewards headshots and accurate shooting with more cash. My guess is that this will be used to determine your top score once the app gets a world ranking feature.
The graphics are passable, though most of the on screen elements lack any animation.
The game is fun if you're looking for some classic shoot em up action. Though the position of the enemies gets predictable after a while, the difficulty levels add to the mayhem on screen. Also, Unlocking a level once allows you to play it later, while there's only a single weapon available, though you can expect more in the next update.
