Guinevere Pettigrew přijde o práci kvůli tomu, že všem říká to, co si o nich myslí.
Ocitá se na ulici, ale naštěstí na ni nezůstane dlouho. Díky malému podvodu se vetře
do domácnosti krásné Delysie Lafosse. Tato dívka má 3 milence a dost bouřlivý život,
nic nestíhá, proto si také Guinevere najme jako svou osobní sekretářku.
Guinevere se najednou ocitá v úplně jiném světě, než dosud žila, a stává se z ní úplně jiná žena.
